I am a Foreign Physician graduated as Medical Doctor in Peru, my country of origin, where I worked in several Family Practice Medical Centers along the coast and jungle. Awarded with the first position nation-wide on performing the most number of tubal ligation surgeries in the country.
In Florida, I started working at Miami Children’s Hospital as Medical Assistant in the Urology and Dermatology Department. Later on, I worked at US Coast Guard Medical Clinic at Miami Beach and Opalocka Military Bases.
I studied my professional carrier at Florida International University (FIU) graduating as Bachelor in Science (Cum Laude) in 2008. Thereafter, I worked at Hialeah Hospital in the Medical-Surgical floor. I achieved my Master of Science at FIU graduating as Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in 2011 with the specialty of Family Medicine. Deija continued her education and in 2017, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked at Kendall Regional Hospital in the Orthopedic/Spine Unit for some time and while furthering her education, was employed as an Allergy Nurse. Deija attained her Masters of Science in Nursing degree in April 2019 and became licensed and certified as an APRN by the AANP.
